Shelby Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in the historic eastern quadrant of Nashville, Tennessee.
The course was designed by George Livingston. The course first opened in 1924.
The course was the first of the seven municipal golf courses in Nashville. The eighteen-hole course is located in beautiful Shelby Park and incorporates rolling hills and picturesque landscape into the experience.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,023 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,873 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 16, a par-5 that plays to 528 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 13, a par-3 that plays to 156 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 7, a 189 yard par-3 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 17, a 495 yard par-5.
